Marine Debris Map of Great Bay NJ/JCNERR

This map details the location of derelict or "ghost" crab traps in the Mullica River-Great Bay NJ.  Stockton University, in Partnership with the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve (JCNERR) and local watermen/women, students and volunteers is working to identify and remove this marine debris.   The goals of this project are to develop and transfer technologies for debris removal from soft-sediment shallow bays and estuaries common along the Mid-Atlantic coast.
